Your private information remains confidential.  We do not sell, rent or loan our customer names, email addresses or personal information to anyone ever.  We contact you directly for automatic order and dispatch confirmation as well as emails generated upon receipt of your order.  With your permission we will notify you from time to time about special promotions or new services.

 

The Reliable Delivery site uses visitors’ IP addresses to administer the site as well as help diagnose problems with its web server.  IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.  For your convenience, you may elect to have our site use cookies to save your user ID and password so you don’t have to reenter this information each time you visit.  Alternatively, you may reject a served cookie.  Rejecting a cookie does not prohibit you from accessing and using all services provided through the Reliable Delivery site.

 

The first time you log on to the Reliable Delivery web site, you will be asked to provide contact information including name and email address as well as courier preferences and frequently used ‘ship from’ and ‘ship to’ addresses.  This allows us to personalize registered user account service, enhance your experience on the site and contact you with important information. like confirmation of shipment orders.  If you prefer, you may opt-out of receiving mailings. 

 

Visitors to the Reliable Delivery site fill out an order form to request information, products and services.  They provide contact and financial information (such as credit card numbers) to put billing in place at the time of the order.  Receiving party addresses are collected to add to the shipper’s address book and are not shared with any outside parties.  However, users can elect not to have the receiver’s address added to their address book when ordering a shipment.  Only the aggregate information such as most frequently used courier or service, or most frequently shipped to city, state and zip code may be shared with couriers without revealing the individual identity and contact information of the shipper or receiver.

SECURITY

 

For your protection, the Reliable Delivery site uses SSL (Security Socket Layer) for communication with web visitors when displaying personal or financial information or when generating a shipping label.  In addition, security measures are in place to protect against loss, misuse or alteration of information under its control.  All sensitive data including contact and financial information requested from users is collected over a secured channel. It is stored in a highly secured system.  Access to these systems is restricted to authorized users only.  It is logged and monitored on a continuous basis.  Physical access to these systems is also restricted.

 

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

 

Reliable Delivery has received no reports of any unauthorized use of a credit card as a result of using our site.  In the unlikely event that a problem would arise, Reliable Delivery would cover your entire liability up to the full $50.00 of fraudulent charges you could be required to pay to your credit card company under the Fair Credit Billing Act.  This applies solely to circumstances where unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own and only for purchases made at the Reliable Delivery site while using our secure server.  In the event of an unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

 

OPT/OUT

 

Would you prefer not to receive communications about new services?  You can choose to opt-out when you register.  If you elect to receive new service communications and decide at a later date you do not want them, simply visit “your account” page and click on the administration link there to opt-out.

 

CHANGE YOUR PERSONAL SETTINGS

 

You can always modify personal information and preferences including carrier preferences, credit card information and address book entries.  Simply visit “your account” page, click on the appropriate link on the left side of the page and make the desired changes.
